01Who We Are

Table Tennis Directory is a global directory of table tennis clubs. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

02Data We Collect

We may collect the following personal data:

Account data: email address and display name when you register.
Club data: information you submit when listing or claiming a club.
Usage data: pages visited, browser type, and IP address, collected automatically via server logs and analytics.
Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your card details.

03How We Use Your Data

To provide and maintain the service.
To authenticate your account and manage club ownership.
To send transactional emails (e.g. club claim confirmations, manager invites) via Resend.
To improve the site through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

04Legal Basis (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of: contractual necessity (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (site security and fraud prevention), and consent (optional marketing communications, if any).

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Supabase: our database and authentication provider.
Stripe: for payment processing.
Resend: for transactional email delivery.
Cloudflare: for site hosting, CDN delivery, DDoS protection, and form-submission anti-spam (Cloudflare Turnstile). Cloudflare processes request metadata including IP addresses to serve our pages and prevent abuse.
Google: for advertising (AdSense), audience analytics (Google Analytics 4), consent management (Funding Choices), and abuse prevention. See the AdSense section below.

All providers are contractually bound to handle data in compliance with applicable privacy law.

Table Tennis Directory uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and similar technologies (including what was historically known as the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

For visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and other regions where applicable, we use Google's Funding Choices consent management platform to obtain your consent before personalised ads are served, and we transmit your choices to Google via Google Consent Mode v2 (covering ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage).
